The Russia Round Table,
with the help of the Russia Cristiana foundation
has launched a series of publications devoted to the papers of the 1917-1918 Local
Council of the Russian Orthodox Church and the debates that preceded it. These
little-known, largely unstudied and still unpublished materials are not only
interesting from the point of view of research on the history of the Church
as it was at the turn of the last century, but also remain very relevant for
the Russian Orthodox Church today.
Two books in this series have now come out. They are:
Archpriest Nikolay Balashov. Towards the Liturgical Revival. Moscow 2001.
Firsov S. L. Russian Church on the Eve of Changes (Late 1890s-1918), Moscow
2002
