We announce the coming out of Volume 2 of the anthology
The 4th Century Eastern Fathers and Teachers of the
Church
Compiled and supplied with biographical
bibliographical articles by Hieromonk Hilarion Alfeyev
The anthology has been published under the program of preparation and
publication of theological textbooks for theological schools, proposed
by the Education Committee of the Holy Synod of Russian Orthodox Church
and carried out by the Round Table on Religious Education and Diakonia.
Volume 2 includes the works of Dydimus of Alexandria, St. Gregory of Nyssa
and St. Amphilochius of Ikonia. Please be reminded of the following three
books in the series which came out earlier: "The 3d Century Fathers and
Teachers of the Church" in two volumes and "The 4th Century Fathers and
Teachers of the Church", volume 1.
