A collection of papers of
the theological conference of the Russian Orthodox Church on
"Orthodox Theology on the threshold of the Third
Millennium"
was published. The Conference took place on February 7-10, 2000, in Moscow.
It was organized by the Synodal Theological Commission by the decision
of the Holy Synod of the Russian Orthodox Church. The aim of the conference
was to review the state and prospects of the Orthodox theology today and
to consider burning theological problems arising in the life of the Church
and in its service for the world.
The collection contains full texts of all the plenary and sectional
presentations made by participants in the Conference.
