Working Group Meeting
On January 27, 2018 a meeting of the working group on drafting a curriculum for theological schools on the drug abuse problem was held in the Department of External Church Relations of the Moscow Patriarchate. The working group, which includes representatives of the Russian Orthodox and Roman Catholic Churches, was created on the initiative of the participants of the seminar "Theological interpretation of the problems of dependency: Orthodox and Catholic view," which took place on September 1, 2017 in St. Petersburg in the highest Catholic seminary "Mary - The queen of the apostles."
During the meeting on January 27, which was chaired by the Bishop Methodius of Kamensk and Alapaevsk, the head of the Coordination Center for Counteracting Drug Abuse, the participants outlined a plan for the program, its main sections and content.
